Hemp Can Help Us Solve Our Problems Now! Cannabis sativa, marijuana, ganja, by whatever name, whatever grade or function of the hemp plant, this weed is key to us saving ourselves.
Below is a wonderful email recently received by the USA Hemp Museum, Richard M. Davis, founder, curator and author of the book HEMP FOR VICTORY: A GLOBAL WARMING SOLUTION . Though written in the first person of Arkansas, USA, it applies everywhere.
From Reverend Howard Baker of Pine Bluff on how hemp can help us solve our problems now.
"The question of a recession for Arkansans could be simple, with an economic explosion for our State that would be unprecedented.
A woody plant with such promise awaits the willing!
This plant can produce products such as apparel, fabrics, bags. shoes, jeans, cordage, netting, canvas, carpeting, geotextiles, biochemicals, non-wovens, pultrusions, compression, molding, fiberboard, insulation, hempcrete, animal feed and bedding, mulch, boiler fuel, chemical absorbent, printing, cigarette, filters, newsprint, packaging, cardboard, bread, granola, ice cream, milk, cereals, protein powder, flour, biomass ethanol, erosion control, crop rotation, salad oils, EFA foods, Margarine, saute oil, soap, shampoo, hand cream, cosmetic, lip balm, oil, paint, solvents, varnishes, lubricant, inks, coatings, diesel fuel, and much more that could be mass produced right here in Arkansas.
A recreational tax on this plant could generate enough revue to fund health care are all Arkansans.
The Global implications this plant can provide makes it a moral imperative to enact into our economy.
Ending our dependency on foreign oil, stimulating our local economies, helping to stop carbon emissions are but a small fraction on what this plant has proven it can help do.
So hesitate no longer in saying legalize cannabis sativa l.
Recession?
I say not!
