The Hemp Solution To Environmental Problems

It's time to change our way of living and do it now if we plan to survive here on earth. Less than 100 years after hemp was made illegal by fools before God who thought they had more power than the Creator, we have the Fukushima nuclear plant in our beloved Japan that is in a triple nuclear melt down, our main energy, food and medicine sources are toxic, the polar ice caps are melting, etc.  We've made nature illegal and wonder why we have problems with our environment!

What about the hemp solution to our environmental problems starting with Fukushima? Richard Marvin Davis and his crew at the museum compiled and published the, linkable for much more research report called THE FUKUSHIMA HEMP PROJECT. Though the press is ignoring this simple way to solve our problems, We The People need to take our divine right to grow our way out of our problems.

  • Hemp can solve many of our problems now. Here's what we think needs to be done with Fukushima and Hemp.
  • To contain the last greatest nuclear disaster, Chernobyl, that happened about a quarter century ago, they entombed the plant with concrete. Hempcrete, a concrete made from hemp and lime is stronger.
  • There is plenty of evidence that lead helps stop radiation. Calculate how thick that layer should be and do that.
  • Hemp plastic is 10 times stronger than steel. Encase the previously mentioned layers in strong, here's the big part since it's next to the ocean, waterproof, hemp plastic.
  • Encase the big earth moving and building equipment as well as the robots in lead and hemp plastic to reduce the effect of the radiation.
  • Plant the radiation eating mushrooms identified by the Albert Einstein Institute everywhere.
In addition to the environment, hemp has many applications to modern problems.  Some of the special reports include:

Part of Richard's life work is posted on his USA Hemp Museum site that's been up since the last century http://www.hempmuseum.us/ - He has published 3 books on the subject in his HEMP FOR VICTORY SERIES with many more in the works.  When you visit the museum site you will find linkable free ebook editions and links to hard copies that are for sale at amazon.

Hemp Phytoremediation Program Can Help With Gulf Oilspill Crisis

Wisdom dictates that especially when in a crisis, use effective solutions applied at the level of cause. Since our environmental problem is too much pollution, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes, from Maine to Hawaii, the solution is to use strategies that effectively remove the pollution.
We all know that hemp was helpful in cleaning up the toxins around Chernobyl, and with a bit of planning by a mastermind alliance, can be used to clean up the environmental mess again.
An immediate end to hemp prohibition will allow us to use this biomass champion in a hemp phytoremediation program.   "Phytoremediation can be defined as the decontamination of soil, sediment or water using plant growth. Industrial hemp, Cannabis sativa L., is renowned for its ability to grow rapdily. In one growing season, fibre hemp can yield 250 to 400 plants per square metre, with each plant reaching up to 5 metres in height. As a result, hemp has been identified as a plant with the potential to serve as a phytoremediator."
The same way hemp was used to clean up the toxins around Chernobyl, we should be using hemp to clean up the toxins from the Gulf of Mexico "oil spill" (more like a volcano) and other environmental crisis situations.
February, 2000: Chernobyl (Ukraine)  - Using Plants To Clean Soil
"Phytoremediation is a process that takes advantage of the fact that green plants can extract and concentrate certain elements within their ecosystem. For example, some plants can grow in metal-laden soils, extract certain metals through their root systems, and accumulate them in their tissues without being damaged. In this way, pollutants are either removed from the soil and groundwater or rendered harmless."
"In 1998, Phytotech, along with Consolidated Growers and Processors (CGP) and the Ukraine's Institute of Bast Crops, planted industrial hemp, Cannabis sp., for the purpose of removing contaminants near the Chernobyl site. Cannabis is in the Cannabidaceae family and is valuable for its fiber, which is used in ropes and other products...
Overall, phytoremediation has great potential for cleaning up toxic metals, pesticides, solvents, gasoline, and explosives. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that more than 30,000 sites in the United States alone require hazardous waste treatment. Restoring these areas and their soil, as well as disposing of the wastes, are costly projects, but the costs are expected to be reduced drastically if plants provide the phytoremediation results everyone is hoping for."

To understand how to use hemp to solve our environmental problems, read the book HEMP FOR VICTORY: A GLOBAL WARMING SOLUTION by Richard M. Davis, founder and curator of the USA Hemp Museum.

So let's end hemp prohibition now and form a mastermind alliance to use hemp to help us solve our problems now.  HEMP FOR VICTORY!

Legislated To Death - Hemp A Solution to Global Warming Is Illegal

Peter On Biomass

We have been legislated to death and unless we take our world back, we won't make it.

Toxic energy, burning food for fuel, various degrees of polluting the environment, they are legal. There are even ideas that say the rich should be allowed to continue to pollute for a tax/credit system at a high cost if they choose, and only the poor and middle class need to adjust their pollution levels as they get paid for allowing others to pollute.

Like HORTON HEARS A WHO, it's going to take everyone being stewards of our environment to turn this mess around. True success demands we work as one.

By government order, hemp is illegal. Hemp is a biomass champion that scrubs the air of excess CO2 as it grows, burns clean as biofuel, grows up to 4 crops a year that can be converted into 50,000 plus useful products and services, and has the ability to help restore the economically essential family farm system.

Richard M. Davis of the USA Hemp Museum has a book called HEMP FOR VICTORY: A GLOBAL WARMING SOLUTION. (free ebook link)

In Davis' book, he recommends we use the successful WWII Hemp For Victory program to grow enough hemp to suck the excess CO2, the cause of global warming regardless of the source, from the atmosphere.

Davis explains the who, what, when, where, ware (many websites listed), why and how about applying hemp to help solve the problem of global warming. Growing hemp on 10-20% of unused federal land would be a good start.

Traditional growers can also use existing farm land that has been polluted with decades of toxic fertilizers and grow hemp for a spell.Hemp's root system grows up to six feet deep and aerates the soil. Hemp is so good at what it does it was reportedly used to clean the soil around Chernobyl.

Growing hemp indoors in abandoned buildings could help also, turning unused real estate into income producing property, as demonstrated in the great Showtime television series Weeds when Conrad grows inside in both commercial and residential buildings.

We must do something now.

The failure of congress to pass Ron Paul's

Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2007

was one more death knell in our battle to save ourselves from the results of legal pollution levels and the impact those decisions are having on our world. We deeply appreciate the efforts of the heroic congress people who at least put the issue on the table again. They are listed in the above Youtube webeo link, a piece the Museum put up in gratitude for their effort.

In case we have not damaged the planet where simple cause and effect cease to work, restoring hemp to nature should do the trick of reducing the excess CO2 at cause for global warming. But first we must turn away from our stupid energy policy that uses food for fuel, rather than hemp biofuel, which burns four times more efficiently than corn and when in pellet or log forms, can be burned at plants that make electricity or buildings to make heat.

For more information on how hemp is useful for energy, check out another book posted on line for free, HEMP BIOMASS FOR ENERGY by Tim Castleman, Fuel and Fiber Company
