Hempcrete Contact Info from www.change.org

Thanks to the entire crew behind the Change.gov and Change.org . Here's a piece posted from a company that makes hempcrete, a hemp building material.

The piece is posted for you to visit and vote:

"I'm trying to promote the use of Hempcrete in these Public Works Projects President Obama wants started Nationwide. Chicago, IL: American Lime Technology is pleased to announce its inaugural project, which represents the first use of the highly sustainable hemp and lime-based Hemcrete® building system in the United States. "

We went to their site and found just in time for a housing secretary who wants to solve housing problems:

"ABOUT AMERICAN LIME TECHNOLOGY

American Lime Technology (ALT) is a joint venture of UK-based Lime Technology Limited and U.S. Heritage Group, Inc, which is located in Chicago, Illinois. We are the North American distributor of Tradical® Hemcrete® construction materials, a highly sustainable hemp-lime product that can be used to create insulating walls in new structures or to retrofit existing floors, roofs, and walls with thermally efficient, breathable insulating layers.

Hemcrete® is a blend of a special lime based binder (Tradical® HB) and specially prepared hemp shiv (Tradical® HF). Together these form a sustainable bio-composite construction material that combats climate change by capturing carbon and delivering high performance airtight, insulating walls. The carbon capture environmental benefits of Tradical® Hemcrete offer an immediate way to combat climate change.

Hemcrete® is being used in several high profile projects in the United Kingdom, including the award-winning Adnams Brewery Distribution Center in Southwold, Suffolk, UK. "

Back to the Change.org posting.

"Imagine how much better our roads, bridges and buildings would be, built with this product over the traditional methods. This is a huge opportunity, not only to drive down costs but, put family farms back to profitability. If President Obama makes Industrial Hemp available in January, we could be using our own Domestically-grown Hemp within only 14 weeks after the growing season begins.

Let's take this opportunity to correct an injustice as well as take advantage of this new technology and improve our society for future generations.

I'm a Johnny Appleseed kind of guy.

I wander hither and yon, spreading notions, hoping one will take root."

If you like the article please vote for it (and read other postings that come up when you search for "hemp"). If you have anything to do with creating housing, please do more research on Hempcrete and share the information. Imagine, create the resources, then build.

Please go to Change.gov and Change.org and post your thoughts on ending hemp prohibition. It's the best way to TELL PRESIDENT OBAMA, LET OUR HEMP GO!!!

For more on hemp and how it can help us visit the USA Hemp Museum, a private museum with a virtual wing. Learn, speak up & vote.
