President Obama - Let Our Hemp Go!!!!

CNN - PRESIDENT OBAMA ON HEMP

Politico.com reported that

"When the White House put out a call for town hall questions, it might not have been expecting this.

The more than 92,000 people who responded either have Cheech and Chong senses of humor or there is a deep concern in America — undetected by the media — about the decriminalization of marijuana, its possible use for medicinal purposes and its potential as a new source of tax revenue.

Given the opportunity to say what’s really on their minds without going through the filter of the mainstream media, people “buzzed up” a series of questions that seemed to suggest broad interest in legalizing marijuana and taxing it."

President Barack Obama is not president for what he thinks. He said he was going to change government. He said science would drive the process. Yet, we are still slaves to Medicine/Prison/Insurance, Inc. The horror. The necessary change is to restore the will of the people and end hemp prohibition.

We've made nature illegal and wonder why we have a problem with the environment.

We've made hemp medicine illegal and wonder why our health care system is strained.

We've made the peace pipe illegal and wonder why we have a problem with violence.

Time to rethink hemp Mr. President. Time to stop acting ignorant on the subject and come on by the USA Hemp Museum. Hemp heals.

The webeo below is on a movement in California that is based on using hemp to help solve the state's economic crisis. Even if the president wants to pretend not to know hemp can help fix the economy, there is wisdom in California.

CNN - LOU DOBBS: Pot tax "legalizing marijuana"

Common sense says that when the problem is a lack of tax revenue the solution is to increase tax revenue. Hemp legalization would do that quickly because hemp is a low cost easily renewable resource material that can make 50,000 products.

End Hemp Prohibition. Tax recreational hemp at 20%.

Hemp Should Be Legal - End The War On Drugs

Here's an email from Richard M. Davis, founder and curator of the USA Hemp Museum, a private museum with a virtual wing located at http://www.hempmuseum.org/, to the US Attorney General, Eric Holder asking for clarification on President Obama's hemp policy.

"Dear DOJ,

Is hemp legal?

If not what is the signal that it is ok to plant hemp?

A hemp bill has passed the Legislature in CA. North Dakota wants to know. When can we plant?

Please answer this letter with a statement of permission to plant.

Please relay this request to President Obama.

Thank you.

Richard Davis, Curator

USA Hemp Museum

Please contact President Obama and the Department of Justice to tell them to end the war on drugs, which has erupted into the an estimated 6,290 drug-related murders in Mexico last year, by ending the war on drugs.

As reported by MSNBC

"Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, made the trip to confer with Mexican leaders about the Merida Initiative, a three-year plan signed into law last June to flood the U.S.-Mexican border region with $1.4 billion in U.S. assistance for law-enforcement training and equipment, as well as technical advice and training to bolster Mexico’s judicial system.

The assistance is intended to help Mexican President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa step up his war against drug cartels. The drug lords and their soldiers are blamed for having killed more than 6,300 people since January 2008, including more than 1,000 in the first two months of this year alone.

That’s about 100 people every week for the last 14 months. The cartels usually do not target civilians, but dozens, perhaps hundreds, have died in the crossfire.

“It’s a real war,” says Jorge Ramos, mayor of Tijuana, Mexico, across the border with San Diego. “We’re not faking.”

END THE WAR ON DRUGS

Vote For Hemp On www.Change.org

WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND REAL CHANGE. END HEMP PROHIBITION NOW.
Still stuck in the Industrial Age, www.change.gov has failed to have any entries on hemp, even though it was voted legal in 9 out of the ten states where it was on the ballot in 2008. Surely the days of the will of the government superceding the Will of the People are over, unless the new president fails to end hemp prohibition.
Change is rarely easy, but change is here. Like the Boston Tea Party, we may have to throw an American Hemp Party. President Obama already knows about hemp and his Secretary of Commerce, Gov. Bill Richardson, is very pro hemp.

Ww have to push for real change. No problem.

Here's a comment on change.org
http://www.change.org/ideas/view/legalize_the_medicinal_and_recreational_use_of_marijuana

"There is about 15-20 thousand really pissed people from these websites, because they just shrugged off our voice on Obama's transition team's website change.gov when a marijuana reform question took first by about 2000 votes (there was 300 marijuana reform Q's submitted and voted on) THEY TRIED DIIVIDING OUR VOTE AND WE STILL PREVAILED very strong!

Marijuana reform is leading 8 categories on the change.org site we need national attention and got a million man marijuana march to dc to protest if we get shafted again http://www.trm3-801.org/could u muster any attention to this ?

I urge you to go to www.change.org , www.youtube.com , send emails to elected and appointed officials, have hemp house parties ( like on 1 1 9 - New Year's Day) and post your thoughts on hemp. Help others do the same.

Shifting From The Industrial To The Information Age With Hemp

There is a simple way to complete the shift from the Industrial Age to the Information Age. Legalize, utilize and tax hemp.

For the toxic Industrial Age to florish, keeping people on toxic energy, medicine and environmental practices, hemp had to be illegal. This emerald Information Age can thrive off of the power found in the hemp plant.

We've made nature illegal and wonder why we have problems with our environment, economy and health care systems. Hemp was voted legal in 9 out of 10 states where it was on the ballot in 2008.

Real change is found in supporting the Will of the People and hemp is that Will. We pray that President Obama is telling the truth about a green revolution. He needs to pull an FDR and end hemp prohibition. Just do it. Radical but it will work.

Hemp is a biomass champion that scrubs the air of excess CO2 as it grows and burns cleans as biofuel. This one two punch can have a positive impact on low cost self produced clean energy and help reverse global warming.

If we grow hemp on just 10% of unused federal land, we can have a powerful, positive impact while restoring the family farm. A great book on the subject is Richard M. Davis' HEMP FOR VICTORY: A GLOBAL WARMING SOLUTION.

Hemp's ability to make 50,000 plus new, non-toxic products could give the international community, as well as America, a much needed shot in the financial arm. JOBS, JOBS and BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. Tax recreational hemp at 20% and he'll be having meetings about what to do with the extra money.

Effective hemp medicine, which has been used successfully for thousands of years, attacks disease at its cause, stress. Stress kills and medical grade hemp reduces stress.

A great hemp warrior, Los Angeles' Sister Somayah Kambui is in hospice at the LA VA hospice. In May she sent her lung tumor into remission , but it's reported that her sickle cell came back stronger 5 months later. As her caregivers gather around her, even though she worked on both the language and campaign of Prop 215, produced 10 annual LA marijuana marches, and did ground breaking research in the field of sickle cell and hemp (more than doubling her life expectancy), she is denied by law the ability to smell relaxing, stress relieving hemp smoke before she, if she, passes. With hemp, she has pulled back from death's door many times over the last 20-30 years. Like Peter McWilliams , she is sentenced to death by DEA stress.

Somebody please tell President Obama to let our hemp plant go, let nature be nature.
